About me

I like to consider my self as a useful guy.

I like working on projects or things that improve my life in a way, and if anything breaks I work on fixing it until it works. Ever since I got introduced to computers when my dad installed the game Neighbours from Hell, at age 3 I loved it and wanted to play everyday. My curiosity developed, I wanted to know how programs were made, how games were made and how can I make my own. My coding journey started when I was 15. I thought Minecraft was built on Java so I should start learning it. Luckily I started learning the correct way by coding and reading instead of just watching coding videos. After deciding that I enjoyed it I started attending courses for Full Stack Development and got introduced to the wonderful React Framework and Node.js, and Node.js opened my eyes to everything.

I also knew that Software Development and Game Development where a bit different, both of them required coding, but a different kind of coding. So to challenge myself, I participated in Game Jams using the Godot engine and I learned about how hard it is to make games, and why they would take so long.

Recently I have taken interest in electronics and soldering and home improvement projects as instead of only coding skills they also require some manufacturing, planning, measuring and say some daunting tasks that I oddly enjoy (or i hate myself and I don't know it). My project right now is utilizing the ESP32 and WLED to mount a ceiling LEDs in the shape of my ceiling's outline.

I am also working on different projects to improve my portfolio and just in general to explore and tinker with different fun libraries like three.js or NestJS. Also been trying out Rust and I am loving it the way the code is meant to be so robust and memory safe and so efficient makes so much sense and its amazing.

3D Printing

Skills: Fusion 360, 3D Printing, Product Development

Watching a bunch of DIY youtubers or people like Jeff Geerling who does Raspberry Pi and other SoC content utilizes 3D printing to make enclosures and cases for his server projects which I think is really useful for customizing any setup as you can make your own design or copy a setup from the various 3D printing communities. So I bit the bullet and bought an A1 Mini as it was relatively inexpensive for an entry level printer and I have been using it for everything from my own projects to home improvements(coffee puck holder, key holder, phone holder for each family member). As I needed some specific designs I have learned how to use Fusion 360 for making my own model. Even though it's tricky start to learning the software, after working with it for a while it is very powerful and it makes more sense the more you use it.
